We built it and you came

Dreams… hopes… a desire to make something bigger and better. Everyone should have a dream. To borrow a quote from A Field of Dreams… “If you build it, they will come”. Well, Kidz World built it and you came! You came by the tens, hundreds, thousands, and tens of thousands! On February 28, 2017, Kidz World opened our website. Our dream was to introduce Kidz World to the community and provide resources for families through information contained within our blog articles. We wanted to highlight the importance of early childhood education and the strides Kidz World has made to enhance early childhood education in the community. Well, we built it and you came… dreams do come true, hopes can be fulfilled, and we continue to make our services bigger and better for the families we serve.

In just a year, Kidz World has received 20,000 views on our website! Isn’t that amazing? In addition to parents of children loved, cared for, and educated within our center, we have avid readers spanning the globe and viewing our site daily. Our visitors share the information with friends and family through social media. We are truly helping to spread the word on the importance of early childhood education! That is just the greatest dream come true.

Reviews on the website have just been wonderful. Parents love knowing what the curriculum is every month and having access to the weekly menu. Grandparents love seeing those precious smiling grandbaby pics on the Gallery and Special Events pages. Avid readers are enamored with the blog articles ranging in topic from the introduction of Kidz World to a medically detailed article filled with information for parents worrying about a child who needs assistance.

Tamika Johnson, President, and Owner of Kidz World Childcare, Inc. said, “The success of our website is a testimony to the vehicle that links our parents, staff, and community together in showing what our daily activities consist of in an early childhood setting. They’re able to see their children engaged in the classroom with age-appropriate activities through the pictures and videos posted on the website.” She states that she, “feels great about the number of viewers engaged with our website”.

As we work through February, African American History Month, we cannot dismiss Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I have a dream” statement. The whole premise of Kidz World is the dream of many to better the children in our care, in our community. To watch the children learn, hit those all important milestones, and develop into wonderful, kind, caring, and compassionate people that will one day run this world, is the greatest dream of all. Kidz World, inspiring the dreams of our future leaders.

Tamika Johnson and all the staff at Kidz World want to thank each and every one of you for supporting Kidz World, through the website and in the virtual world! Without you, we could not fulfill our dreams. Your continued patronage is just a blessing and is so greatly appreciated. Thank you!!
